The optional on-device writing model you can download in YourCelf is Google's Gemma. It is provided under and subject to the Gemma Terms of Use, and your use of it is restricted by the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy. By downloading the model you agree to those terms. Please read them before downloading — a copy of the Terms of Use is available at the link above and accompanies the model download.
Modification notice: the model file we distribute
(gemma3-1b-it.litertlm) is google/gemma-3-1b-it
format-converted (including quantization) to the LiteRT .litertlm format
for on-device inference. The weights are not otherwise modified.
The notice below accompanies every copy of the model we distribute (NOTICE.txt):
This application uses Gemma. Gemma is provided under and subject to the Gemma Terms of Use found at ai.google.dev/gemma/terms Model: gemma-3-1b-it, converted to LiteRT (.litertlm) format for on-device inference. The model file has been format-converted; the weights are not otherwise modified. Use of the model is subject to the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy: ai.google.dev/gemma/prohibited_use_policy
The model runs entirely on your device. Your content is never sent to Google, to us, or to anyone else by the model.
On-device inference uses Google's LiteRT-LM runtime, used under the Apache License 2.0. It is the only third-party runtime component in the app; everything else is Apple's own frameworks.
